Elite Auto Sounds & Home Theater, a rapidly expanding company, seeks a full-time Audiovisual Estimator to become an integral part of our team. The successful candidate will report directly to Operating Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and qualify project documentation and specifications for new opportunities.
- Follow-up on bids and RFI’s
- Develop and communicate intricate scopes of work, ensuring they are precise, comprehensive, and risk-minimizing.
- Compile equipment lists that fulfill design requirements, inclusive of all miscellaneous materials and cabling.
- Produce accurate takeoffs and cost estimates complying with industry standards and local codes.
- Generate labor cost estimates to maintain project profitability.
- Adhere to strict organizational procedures for estimating documents.
- Update and monitor the assigned project board weekly to meet deadlines and keep the sales team informed.
- Answer questions and troubleshoot with the project team as required to ensure the work aligns with the design and scope expectations.
Desired Qualifications/Experience:
- Previous AV Estimating Experience.
- Experience with Live Sound, Video Broadcast, and/or Music Production.
- Skills in troubleshooting and/or programming.
Experience with Video Conferencing Systems, Digital Signage Video Walls, Speaker Rigging/Flying, Audio DSP Programming, PA/Bell/Clock Systems, Networked Audio and Video Streaming. - Knowledge in Networking Fundamentals, Setup, and Troubleshooting.
- 2+ years of Commercial Audiovisual Installation Experience.
- Outside Sales
Ability to understand blueprints.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and estimating software. - Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously.
